[Mini Review] May 2016 Buys from Hermo

By  |

So last month I went into a bit of spending frenzy, both online and offline, both for necessities and also for things I wanted but may not really need so I thought I’d share some of my new purchases’ experiences with you

I initially set out to restock my Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm from Hermo (Holy grail! Restocked 3 times ever since I discovered it) but alas, it was out of stock so I settled for Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm [#Deep Moisture] instead

And because I’m the type of shopaholic who would rather spend more money to be eligible for free shipping (which may not necessary be the most cost efficient manner) so I decided to pick up a Kao Good-Night Neck & Shoulder Steam Patch Trial Pack

It’s my first time using both products and yay for the Skinfood freebie!

Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm [#Deep Moisture]

What I thought: OMG, this is even better than Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm! I’m so going to start using this instead. I like it that it’s scent-free, super moisturizing that I only apply it in the morning, after meals and before bed. Plus point: I keep it in my bag and bring it everywhere and it does not melt into a goop

What I thought: I always get the worst cramps and I I find it difficult to sleep with both my back and tummy hurting at the same time so I thought some heat would help. Other than it being oddly shaped just like a sanitary pad, it really works (for me at least). It sticks on well (put it on my tummy), the warmth is subtle but effective and when I peeled it off, there’s no sticky residue and my skin is totally okay with it (I have uber sensitive skin). So much win, I’m going to stock up on this

I’m very happy with  my purchases this time round and they were both essentials and useful products, so money well spent. Tee-hee
