Gucci Flora Fragrance Anniversary Edition
Brought to you by Gucci
I was first introduced to Gucci’s range of fragrances when Blake Lively became the face of Gucci Premiere. That whole ad was gold and classy, it was everywhere during the post-Gossip Girl days and plus, I was in the search of a new scent – so why not?
It wasn’t my usual type of scent but I was happy that I tried something new. It’s a little more intense than my daily fragrance and more suitable for date nights and fancy dinners. After my initial bottle, I repurchased it again during my KLIA shopping spree for those special nights out *winks*
Fast forward to 2016, Gucci launched a limited edition fragrance, Flora Fragrance Anniversary Edition, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the House’s distinctive pattern Flora. The scent and its packaging are inspired by the blooms—Rose, Osmanthus and Peony—at the heart of its trademark flora design
It’s packed beautifully yet whimsical with colourful floral designs at the base of the hexagon bottle (I’m a total sucker when it comes to pretty perfume bottles) and I sampled a spritz in the departmental stores earlier
The verdict? This is something I’d definitely wear. It’s reminiscent of the signature Flora fragrance line with more sensuality, a great addition to Gucci fragrance fans and I’m sure it’ll welcome new fangirls to the club soon enough. Plus, it’s limited edition, making it a must-have for fragrance collectors like me!
No surprises that I’ve added this fragrance to my wishlist for my next purchase. Tee-hee. Be sure to check it out and sample it for yourself the next time you pass by the Gucci counter *wink*
