Getting to Know: Christine of Sheabelle
Ever wonder who the founders of our favourite blogshops are and their stories? Here’s our 3rd interview from our ‘Getting to Know’ series with Christine from Sheabelle
Sheabelle is an online site that features all kinds of accessories handpicked by the owner, Christine
Here are the deets from her interview:
ASD: What is your favourite item in your closet?
Christine: Ah. it’s so hard to choose, but if I were to pick one I would say my white crotchet lace dress! I got it from cache cache in Singapore. I think i wore it casually (the tai-tai-tea-with-friends-type-
ASD: What was your favourite item sold from your e-shop business and did you keep a piece for yourself?
Christine: Hahahha I certainly did! I especially love this bib necklace. I took one for myself right before i place it for sale online
ASD: You cannot leave home without …. (name your essential items)
Christine: My iPhone! Deffo my phone. Once I went to work and accidentally left my phone at home. I literally drove all the way back home from KL *coughs* that ridiculous morning jam *coughs*. Oh, i was late for work that day. And for some weird reason, my watch
ASD: Why you decided to go into online fashion/shopping?
Christine: Hmmmmmm. Haha okay I’m not sure exactly how to put it but hmm. I’m Christine, currently having a full time job. Sheabelle was created when I was still studying in the university back in 2011. At that time, I had some free time (despite having piles after piles of assignments). I love accessories so much and I thought that maybe i could share this “love” with maybe a few peeps. Then it grew bit by bit I guess?
I’m glad i started Sheabelle. Being able to meet loads of friendly customers and also other lovely blogshop owners is really a blissful thing
Thanks Christine for sharing your story with us. We love your infectious bubbly personality and that your selections at Sheabelle reflects that too! Shop Sheabelle’s handpicked selections today at http://www.sheabelle.net/
