Designer Debuts at KLFW 2014
This year’s KL Fashion Week showcased an array of designers with their debut collection and they did not failed to impress. Here are some of the looks from the new kids on the block that made our favourite list:
To be honest, we’ve been following Kittie Yiyi’s Instagram for a while now and while we shy away from dressing up in her style, we never fail to admire how she can pull off the most eccentric of combinations and make it work. It’s no surprise that her debut collection represents her quirky style while making polka dots, large bows and plaids work!
From makeup artist to fashion designer, Najeeb transforms the way we view gold in our daily outfits. The designs come down the runway looking chic, hip and totally suitable for our tropical weather. P.S. We think it’s very resort/cruise themed too!
Thigh high slits, leather gloves and tapered pants bring together a classy collection that are made for the sophisticated lady. We love the beautiful silhouettes this collection creates that emphasize a strong, confident woman. Red carpet moments? We think so
Here’s another designer who took a bold step in incorporating gold into the collection that results in an astounding modern collection. Silhouettes that accentuate the waist, wide sleeves and different textures were beautifully blended together by designer Sean Loh and we would love to get our hands on some of these pieces
